Rogers 4003 vs 4350

 

Rogers’ R043508 and R04003c are very mature products.
The dielectric constants of R043508 and R04003c remain unchanged, and the manufacturing process values are 348+005 and 3384005 respectively, and the design values are 3.6 and 3.5.
The dielectric constant changes with frequency, and the design simulation needs to be carried out according to the actual application frequency.
The material properties can refer to the data sheet RO4000 series high-frequency circuit board materials.

R04003C carbon hydrogen ceramics cannot directly replace the RF module design of R04350B carbon hydrogen ceramics.
DK and DF Rogers 4003 is inconsistent with R04350B. Direct replacement will cause the 50ohm micro-line width to change and the output loss to increase.
The software simulation design needs to be modified according to the dielectric constant and insertion loss of R04003c before the circuit board can be completely replaced.

Rogers has completed detailed internal certification of Procoperdlad boards R04003C and R04534 produced in Suzhou, China. Its certification includes electrical,

mechanical and thermal testing. We can confirm that the tested performance and quality parameters of the materials manufactured in Suzhou meet our existing published specifications.

From the electrical parameters of Roers 4350 and Rogers 4003, Roers 4003c is superior to Roers 4350 in terms of loss factor and dielectric constant temperature coefficient.
